Another contract win for Geospatial Vision

OMG plc, Oxford Metrics Group (LSE: OMG), (“OMG” or “the Group”) the technology group providing image understanding products for the entertainment, defence, life science and engineering industries, is pleased to announce the signing of a second contract within its Geospatial Vision division.

Geospatial Vision was established as part of OMG’s strategy of expansion through leveraging existing technology in new vertical markets and focuses on street-level geospatial imagery, providing new technologies for the management and maintenance of key national infrastructures.

This agreement, again with a local authority, is the second asset survey contract to be signed by the division. Under this agreement, OMG will be using its vehicle to complete an in-depth highway survey. This will involve capturing street-level video and automatically extracting asset data relating to road markings and signs.
