10.DEC.07 / Press Release Yotta DCL contract with Highways Agency OMG plc, Oxford Metrics Group (LSE: OMG), (“OMG” or “the Group”) the technology group providing image understanding products for the entertainment, defence, life science and engineering industries, is pleased to announce the signing of its first contract within the Yotta DCL division for a full network survey. The integrated highway services company A-one+ has awarded a contract to Yotta DCL for a 2,600km survey of the Highways Agency Area 10. The survey will use Yotta DCL's groundbreaking Nano technology with high-resolution 360-degree photography for precision mapping of the highway inventory in the North West of England to include signs, road markings, lamp posts and safety barriers. Yotta DCL will give A-one+ a pixel-by-pixel accurate picture of existing inventory to compare with data held on the Highways Agency's computer system. The additional benefits for A-one+ of Yotta DCL's unique digital asset collection survey are speed, safety, lack of disruption to road users and lower costs. Nick Bolton, Chief Executive Officer of OMG plc, commented, “We are delighted with this strategically important contract, the first with a highway services agency as well as the first for a full network survey. This is an excellent endorsement of the combined Yotta DCL technology.” -ends-
