Julian Morris founded Oxford Metrics (now OMG) in 1984, and the company is now the world's leading supplier of motion capture and visual geometry systems for life sciences, entertainment and engineering applications. Prior to 1984, his career included a period of academic research (DPhil in engineering and post-doctoral research) at Oxford University, and various technical and managerial positions up to Director level within operating companies of the Oxford Instruments Group. He takes particular responsibility on the OMG Board for growth and diversification strategies.
